Is everyone commenting here a molly-coddling mom? He had a completely unaerodynamic lightweight bendy/squishy object on a slingshot that was barely pulled back. In the unlikely event that he did slip the worst that would have happened would be a slight graze that would heal overnight.
Also I reckon Janina is a perfect fit for this type of vapid, mass-market commodification of Star Wars, so I'm unsure why people are feeling sorry for her being associated.
I love it when people imply that Star Wars hasn't literally always been a vapid, mass-market commercial property.
It's about as bland and entry-level as sci-fi gets, and to act like it's some sacred cow that you're not allowed to disrespect by having the nerve to make money off of it is one of the funniest things in the world.
Think you've got the wrong end of the stick there mate - I never implied Star Wars hasn't been largely a mass market commercial property. I would suggest however, that there have been some exceptions, but that this is not one of them.
Funny that the stuff Vinny wants (ground and space combat occurring simultaneously on the same map) has already been done in Battlefront 2 (2005), a much better game with more features.

Combat is still more engaging in Mount & Blade, as well as larger battles, full strategy single-player and modding, even if the graphics are considerably dated.
Weird how they kept saying the Deus Ex was conversely more closed-off when that's demonstrably not the case. Deus Ex is far more open and offers more options for infiltration as well as exploration.
