Retail games I bought but haven't finished this generation . I might explain why I haven't finished them and also rank them in the order which I would play them if I got my shit together. I'll be updating with more titles along the way!
I loved the time I've spent with the game, but for some unknown reason I didn't have time to play for a week or so and after that I haven't had the urge to go back.
Since it looked freaking gorgeous I had to get it to test the new PC my household got. And while I did enjoy the gameplay I didn't care much for the twist in the setting. But the main reason that I left it unfinished is probably that I prefer console gaming these days.
In theory I love most JRPG's. The reality is that I can only handle the linear world, and in most cases boring fighting systems, to a certain point. Especially if I get stuck and have to start grinding in order to proceed, which was the case with Eternal Sonata.
The last snowboarding game I spent a lot of time with was SSX3. Seeing the snow pile up outside the window made me get Shaun White Snowboarding even though I suspected it wouldn't be nearly as good as other snowboarding games I played in the past. My instinct was definitely right, but my need for virtual snowboarding wasn't big enough to overshadow it.
