Id software is back at it again. Committed to scare the pants off of players, Doom 3 will take its players through blood soaked hallways and the depths of hell. Apparently a mad scientist opened a portal into hell and you have to find a way to fix it. Your arsenal mostly consists of a large assortment of guns, a PDA and a flashlight. Sniper Elite 3 puts us in dusty Africa. This is a welcome change with Germany being such familiar territory. The most common color you will see in this game is brown, but that is not a bad thing. Sniper Elite 3 is beautiful, but not without flaws. Unsightly texture flicker is hard to ignore when everything else is so stunning. Gears of war Ultimate Edition is a prettied up version of the first game in the Gears of War series. You are once again resuming the roll of Marcus Fenix. After getting a surprise release from prison, you wouldn't think anything could ruin your day.
