I just bought this game last week since it was $40.  I was waiting to buy it after I finished Red Dead; who knew it was going to take me about a year to do that.  Any-who, I got the version that gives you all those codes, including Onslaught.  After I finished the campaign, I hoped over to the multiplayer stuff.  Why can I only find Onslaught games on easy?  I tried starting one on normal, and no one showed up.  I started one on easy and it filled up in 5 minutes.  What gives?

This was suppose to go under Sid Meier's Gettysburg.  Don't know how it ended up in the General Discussion.  Anyway, discuss amongst yourselves.

I have been missing hitting this game up since XP service pack 2 broke this game.  I loved the RTS without mining minerals/ building bases. An iPad version with a well thought out interface would be great.   Get to it, Sid; chop, chop.

If people want to "cheat" and mod weapons for the single player, fine.  You paid your $60, do what you want.  [I remember in my Diablo days experimenting with similar modding programs, but I digress].  But I do not want to play co-op with you.  Every time a modder is in the game they just stand their switching through their weapons showing them off.  You have a machine gun that shoots grenades and lags the game to a stop.  Great for you!   It is no fun playing with you.  You can't die and you kill everything in 1 shot.  That = no fun.  Go play with yourself and have a nice day!

I just started playing it again over the weekend.  I never had trouble finding a game.  I pretty much sucked at first, but I finally got back to my mediocre level of play.  Just the few times that I ran over a few enemies in a group with a tank or disarmed the bomb on the last gold chest at the last second to win the game made my many games of ranking near the bottom worth it.

What is the deal with Out of Commission when I'm climbing up on the helicopter?  I've tapped A like mad on 4 or 5 attempts and the same thing happens.  The view from outside the helicopter twitches abruptly, then I fall off.  Searching the interwebs, some people have the same problem, and others have no trouble at all.  I would think I just suck, but I've never had any trouble like this throughout the whole game.

I've been playing this damn thing since April and it's going to end like this?  Do you think is could be a bug in some of the disks?

A lot of the free games are not worth the time to download, but there are a few gems that really show the potential.  The controls on the Brothers in Arms is a little off, especially the "look" control. However, the graphics are pretty darn good.  To me they look a notch below Xbox 1.  Hero of Sparta is just plain good.  I'm look forward to the Simcity that is suppose to be out this month.
I didn't get a DS or PSP simply because I didn't want to carry around another device.  I already have my PDA, cell phone, and iPod in my iPhone.  I was hoping the iPhone games would take off and it looks like they are on their way. (Why are people talking about the cost of an iPhone? Its $199, though I was a sucker and bought it at full price last year).
