Finally, a New Game

Yup! It's been a while since I got GTA IV and now I finally have a new game!

My fiance gave me Scene It? Lights, Camera, Action as part of my wedding gift. While it is most definitely not for the hardcore among us, I'm really glad I got it! Finally a game I can play with her on a consistent basis! We've played it a few times already, and I've also discovered this is also a game that she can beat me in. Often.

Oh, the simplicity of Scene It.

The only problem is that I get frustrated easily when I don't know a lot of the answers. But I guess I'll learn by playing it. Losing isn't as big of a deal to me as being dumbfounded by a lot of the trivia.
Multiplayer goodness in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance

I'm also thinking of getting Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. It'd only cost me about $10 or so to buy used, and I've been wanting to get it for a while. I have some other money I'm "allowed" to spend, but I might just save it for those first couple weeks in November. I mean, seriously, all the publishers are smoking. I know that at least Mirror's Edge, Left 4 Dead, Gears of War 2, and The Last Remnant come out in the first two weeks of November, and in October, Rock Band 2, Fallout 3, Midnight Club: Los Angeles, Saints Row 2, Fifa Soccer 09, Tom Clancy's EndWar, Fable II, Dead Space, and Far Cry 2 all come out.

I think my head is going to explode. I need GameFly. Or something just like it. Now.

Those games are not all must-haves for me, per se, but I'm very interested in all of them and would like to play them all. I know it sounds bad, but I kind of can't wait to see the reviews to see which games rate poorly so I can take some off my list ungrudgingly...

Ultimate Alliance is a lot of fun, especially in multiplayer arcade mode. It's not a short game either so for $10 you are getting a great value. You could do worse if you are in the mood for a brawler.

@plegms - haha, sorry man. All I meant was, I'll also be lucky if I get even one of those...

@Messier - Yea I've played it before and it was a lot of fun. I really wanted to finish it but I couldn't given the time frame, so now I'm wanting to just buy it...

Congrats on getting a game you and your fiancé can play together!
You think you are going to have a hard time getting the games you want come november, try being a poor student who works a few days a week in a café and gets horribly underpaid for it :p

Oh, I have MUA so we will have to play sometime. I wish I had the gold edition so I could get more achievements for it but oh well.

Ultimate Alliance is a great game, I was actually playing some co-op for it the other day. There's a lot of characters in the Marvel universe and the gameplay is very addictive, I got mine free but $10 is definitely a good buy.
