Wow we have pretty similar tastes it seems aside from a couple things. I think Journey is a little overhyped so it wouldn't make my list. Portal 2 is a wonderful game with no flaws I can remember, but I just don't have a ton passion for it. I haven't played Invisible, Inc. yet , but I remember Austin calling it his favorite game of 2015, so I'll play it eventually. Unfortunately I have a huge backlog of games and shows, so I don't see myself playing it anytime soon. I stupidly decided I'm going to try to get 112% in Hollow Knight so I'll be stuck on that for a while. Currently doing all the boss stuff in Godhome. I wanna die lol
@cubidog: Hey, this rules! Nice to know someone agrees with my particular tastes in games. To address your comments per game:
Journey was really special to me because it was a game I really wanted the most I could possibly get out of it. The unique multiplayer interactions were simply magical to me back in the days of the PS3. I also introduced someone that doesn't even like games to it, and they loved it, which was a really special moment for me, especially at the time.
Portal 2 was something I was beyond hyped for, and yeah I also agree that there aren't a ton of flaws. I think it's a master stroke of a sequel.
Invisible, Inc I also tried after Austin shouted it out in GOTY, and I never looked back. It's the most invested in a roguelike I've ever been, aside from FTL.
And yeah, Hollow Knight absolutely rips. I did not pursue the majority of the Godhome content, but I appreciate all the time and effort the devs gave it and I know a ton of people love it. Can't wait for Silksong!
