This thread is blowing my mind, I had no idea people played these games that much. I had 500 hours in socom 2, back when i was 15. I dont think I have put over 20 hours in a single game in the past 8 years, besides world of warcraft, which I currently at around 100 days, though thats over 6 and a half a years.
I think most people are taking your question as in" what game looks the most life like?", when I think you meant, "which world acted most life like?", which is completely differnt. I dont think I have ever played a game that acted life like, I have not played mount and blade before.
I guess MMOs are kind of life like, because like you said, even if you dont log on there is trading, events and guilds progress, and the world still happens when your not there. Thats a shitty example though, as thats mostly dynamic players in a pretty static world.
I used to use the old mic from warhawk, but lost it. Then I used the mic from socom confrontation, then lost that. Now I use a wired mic. All worked great, though the sound quality is better on my wired set. (and hopefully i wont lose a wired mic)
For me, its definitely rockband 3. I was so pumped for that game, dropped all the money on the keyboard and game, probably played an hour of it total. I really hated it. What about you guys?
