To go with this story, I was with the night of the scam. He was talking about needing someone at work and I happen to need a job at the moment so I gave him my phone number and first name only. That same night I got several phone calls from an unknown number at 3:00 am but I never answered. Today almost 6 days after the event. Buddy comes to my house door but I don't answer. He has called me twice today already, I assume; again blocked number. So now I'm curios, Should I have answered the door? Because first of all the number he gave was probably fake. The guy said he works in the trades and the number was for a tattoo shop; although his wife may own/ work there. To go more with this story, My mom has been asked by people in the past in this same neighborhood for money. Going so far as to say "but there's a bank machine nearby..." which is what happened with as well. Also we now have video and picture of the guy now, thanks to him showing up on my doorstep today. So that may come in useful if things turn out to be pretty bad.
