I was having a discussion with my brother and a friend of mine, and the subject of which video game franchise is the most overated. I came up with the Zelda franchise, my reasoning was not  to say that it's not a great franchise (I've only played 2 Zelda games my whole life- the original and Wind Waker. Both great games but I wouldn't put it on my top 20) but just the name Zelda automatically is put on a pedastal because of the fanboys. My brother came up with the Madden franchise,his reasoning is due to the fact he likes more arcady sports games then simulated ones. My friend came up with the Halo franchise,his reasoning is if you take away the online play the game would be nothing.He also said that online multiplayer is an extra and not part of the game because you have to pay for xbox live and you don't have to pay to play all of zelda. Who's wrong?
