Is the Magic Still there? 0

At first, when this game was announced, I thought 3 would mean Kingdom Hearts 3. Nope.Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance (KH 3D) takes place right after KH II and Re:coded. Sora and Riku, in order to prepare for the eventual Master Xehanort (voiced by Leonard Nimoy of Spock fame) take the Mark of Mastery Exam to become Keyblade Masters. To do this, Wizard Yen Sid tasks the duo by transporting them back in time to when Destiny Islands were taken over by darkness in KH to unlock 7 sleeping key...

A Good Ol' Classic, Made New and Exciting 8

You know, I, as an avid fan of Final Fantasy IV, had picked up Final Fantasy IV: The After Years (the sequel), and found it a treat. Recommending it to my friend, someone who hasn't played IV, proved to be a waste of time, as The After Years turned out to be a treat (a very unoriginal treat at that) to Final Fantasy IV fans. "Super" worked for Mario... does it work for Maxwell? 0

Another very interesting game came out this holiday season. 5th Cell, the Warner Brothers' studio that makes very innovative games on the Nintendo DS, such as Drawn to Life, comes out with their sequel to last year's game, Scribblenauts, in the original title Super Scribblenauts (hey,  Maxwell is back, with the newest edition of Webster's Dictionary! at least it isn't Scribblenauts 2). If you read that paragraph at all, sequel to last year's game should have jumped out at you... Ho...

Card games on motorcycles - Actually, it's an improvement 0

In this day and age, I still remain faithful to Yu-Gi-Oh!, playing the video games because I don't have enough money to buy 10 booster packs a week to make a half-decent deck. I've played Nightmare Troubadour and Spirit Caller, both for the DS, and, while they were worthwhile games, there's no doubt that several issues were present. Despite 5D's premise of "CARD GAMES ON MOTORCYCLES!," World Championship 2010: Reverse of Arcadia takes the cake. Not just as a Yu-Gi-Oh! game, but it's a fairly goo...

A Thrilling RPG for the iTouch/iPhone 0

Generally, this iPod Touch/iPhone OS isn't really touched by video game developers. Square-Enix has quite a few titles on the App Store already, such as Final Fantasy I and II. However, this new title greatly impresses, and is no mini-game: It takes well over  twenty hours to complete (which means that you often are going to run to your computer and charge your iPhone/Touch just to get more).  Square-Enix has a very different approach to this game, something that I haven't seen before in the App...
