The next coming months

Within the next coming month many games are scheduled to be released. Gears 2, Fallout 3, Fable 2, Rock Band 2, probably another card battle game or something but none the less, a lot of great games happen to come out in the next coming months. Even though Gears will be a big release it's not the game I'm looking most forward to, actually I am looking forward at 2 games. Fallout 3 and Fable 2.

Fallout 3 is of course being developed by Bethesda Games. The studio that made games such as The Elder Scrolls series and the previous Fallout games. The first 2 Fallout games didn't really catch my attention, so that's why I didn't play them. But this is game looks kinda like a rebirth of the series because of the first and third person camera view, I guess that's why I'm really looking forward to it. The reason I didn't play the other ones was because of the camera view. I know that is kind of a critical statement, but who cares. The blood, the gore, the action, and the adventure are really what is gonna sell the game, and that's another reason I'm gonna buy it. It is supposed to be released October 7.

Fable 2 is the sequel to the original Fable from the original Xbox developed my Lionhead Studios and the great Peter Molyneux. He is the only person I have heard exaggerate as much as a 6 year old child, but that's beside the point. This game is going to be amazing. You can pretty much do everything in this game, and I mean everything. You can get married, get and STD, kill you spouse. get remarried, have a family, buy a house, buy a house, the list goes on and on until you get right down to the getting crapped on by birds. This game will pretty much the greater, better, console version of Blizzard's World of Warcraft except it's not a MMO, which is a good thing. (Good thing it didn't meet the same fate as KOTOR did.) This epic title will hit store shelves October 21.

These game really show how far games have come. From the simple days of the Atari 2600 and Pong, to the Wii, 360, and the PS3. I hope the whole industry will continue to advance and keep on rising to the top. This will only happen if we keep it going for many years to come.
