  • I am a big fan of story in games and a big fan of Batman, so when a game came along that created one of the most engrossing, and well-written Batman stories in the characters long history I was instantly hooked, and who would've thought that the gameplay would be top-notch as well. The combat was intuitive, perfected a system introduced in Assassin's Creed, and made it easy to look totally badass. The riddles were a wonderful side bonus, and the challenge rooms were a fun extra despite not being very good at them. This is a great game for Batman fans, and game fans alike. One of the most atmospheric games of this generation, and in my opinion one of the best games of this generation.

  • One of the most hyped games of all-time actually managed to live up to the hype for once. The campaign like in all Call of Duty games is stunning in terms of razor sharp controls, and gameplay, over-the-top action, and eye-popping visuals.. Whether or not you understand the story or not, and despite the plot holes, the set pieces Infanity Ward has become famous for are amazing, and memorable. Whether it's fighting in the oval office, the favelas of Brazil, or the suburbs of Virginia Modern Warfare 2's mind-blowing atmosphere makes it one of the most memorable single player campaigns ever, and certainly the most epic.

The multiplayer is what we'll all be coming back for in 2010 though. IW built on an already great system in COD4, and added more weapons, attachments, XP, and so much more. Multiplayer is fast-paced, a great community activity, and addicting.

And there's also spec ops. IW took a great idea in the Mile High Club mission in COD4 and instead of adding another level like it they added 23, and made it playable with a buddy, online, or off. The missions are tough, and fun, combining the most memorable moments of MW2 with some of the best of COD4. Spec Ops is one of the best co-op experiences of this generation.

  • Borderlands is a wonderful combination of FPS gameplay and RPG elements. At it's heart Borderlands is a wonderful open-world Diablo-lite adventure. Add 3 friends and you've got yourself a great time. Characters that carry over different games, and true drop-in and out co-op makes Borderlands feel whole. Finding loot with your friends or if you choose to fly solo is addicting as any drug out there on the market, and the hundreds of missions will leave you busy for hours. One of the most fulfilling 20 hour experience you can have on a game console today.

  • A rare thing happened with Assassin's Creed II. A developer actually listened to its community about the problems with the original Assassin's Creed and fixed almost everything wrong with it. Gone is the repetitive gameplay with no real plot, and in return we get a wonderful narrative with interesting missions that actually matter toward the progression of the story. The combat has been tuned up making it easier to do, and climbing has been approved. What more is there to say about Assassin's Creed II other than they took a good game in Assassin's Creed 1 and made it a great game in Assassin's Creed 2.

  • What more is there to say. 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand was a complete surprise in the gaming industry this year. 50 Cent: Bulletproof one of the worst cash-in titles ever to disgrace this earth seemed to promise an even worse sequel, but with a little more time and effort the developers actually made a ridiculously fun game. Ridiculous in bold. Hit that ramp 50, is just one of the gems that G-Unit homeboys Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks, or the other dude spout at you through the game either by yourself or co-op, the shear ludicrousness of this game makes it so memorable, and fun. I never thought I'd say I'm looking forward to a 50 Cent videogame sequel.

  • Racing: Amazing, Graphics: Amazing, Tuning: Amazing, Designing: Amazing, Storefront: Amazing, nuff said

  • A return to old Bioware style RPGs was a big risk, but one that paid off. This long and engrossing tale will entertain you for months to come as different styles of playing each time can net you new experiences, and tales to tell to your friends at the water cooler. This game is not for everybody though; it is the hardest of hardcore games on the market right now, and requires some major attention to detail, but it well paid off with it's great storylines, and fun combat, and skill building.

  • I am a big Ghostbusters fan so when I heard that they would be making a "sequel" in videogame format I was skeptical but excited at the same time. While the story is not great it seems what a Ghostbusters III plot would end up as, but the voice acting, and humor more than makes up for the lackluster story, and I can finally live my lifelong dream of becoming a Ghostbuster.

  • This game is all about fun, and that's what I had playing it.
