Mortal Kombat X moves forward with a snappier version of the previous game's fighting and some cool new characters, but the story and other features around the edges feel a bit rough in spots.
The ways that Axiom Verge resembles Metroid help set up and drive home the ways that Axiom Verge is most definitely not Metroid.
Hotline Miami's thrillingly brutal gameplay is stretched to the point of breaking in this aesthetically pleasing, but otherwise disappointing sequel.
That was the best possible way that could have gone down.
I wonder if Dan ever played the MGS stuff in Ape Escape 3. That was the only reason I played that game, and it was definitely worth it.
I rented a copy of Bioshock Infinite from Redbox when it came out and someone had removed the bar code and shittily placed it onto a blank CD-R. Customer support refunded my money and gave me a credit for another rental, but I was paranoid at the time that they would think I was the one who stole it considering the shitty condition the disc was in.
The 360 version deserves some coverage because it's just terrible. Downloaded it after finishing the One version and it's a buggy mess. At least once a race all the art assets would disappear leaving my car flying in an endless void. Never played Horizon 2 on the 360, but it looks worse than I remember Horizon 1 looking. The conspiracy theorist in me would suspect they really half-assed the 360 port to push people to upgrade to the One.
I was just thinking to myself a few hours ago that there hasn't been a new Demo Derby in a while. I think I willed this into existence. Just saying.
Dan's life is just incredible. I can't even think of one interesting thing that's ever happened to me.
I'm still going to pick up up because:
Damn. Those videos bummed me out so bad. That wasn't even very long ago!
I probably wouldn't like to play this, but the visuals of the space station interiors, etc. give me such a nerd-on. Freeze me until this is our reality!
This is obviously the trailer for a third person, cover shooter. Where's the ambiguity?
