I am so sad that I missed this 4 years ago. I know this is thread necro, but damn I wish I had heard about it then and not just a few days ago. What a fun game.
Oh, for f***ck sake, you empty multiple magazines into a single enemy and he is not dying. How can you guys not cringe at this?
I know this is a game, but at some point if you are going to give up realism so much then you might as well just play...bright shiny nonsense crystals in space. It doesn't make sense to make a game look like real life then. Logic broken...hurts brain...
If this was all enemies then yeah I'd bail. I'm okay with with boss enemies taking sustained fire.
Normal enemies in this game drop in a burst of fire unless you are underleveled.
Also, I read through this whole thread and even though people keep mentioning TTK on the boss (think WoW not CoD) nobody ever noticed that Jeff was heavily tank specced. High stamina, low firepower or electronics, AND he was using a green/teal weapon. So his DPS was very low for his level.
