Trainers teaching you new skills is linked to you training the skills that LEAD UP to the locked icon in the skill tree. You learn the locked skills in order from one star to five, so you must learn the three star skill before the four star skill, etc.

It's frustrating how much the guys get distracted by their conversations about movies when cool stuff is happening right in front of them.

Honestly there's nothing wrong with the individual tracks - they're well done. It's that there is no dynamic to how the game uses them. Each area has a piano piece playing at all times. It would have been much better if they had no BGM in some areas, or if they had just recorded different tracks with different instruments, or multiple instruments, or even just changed the way they mixed some of the tracks so it doesn't sound so identical. For me the BGM is relentless and exhausting at worst and forgettable and nondescript at best.

None of it is going to be memorable to me. I'm not going to be able to listen to this OST and think "oh hey, this is the song that plays at x" because of how quickly all the tracks run together.

That being said that's how I feel about the environments kinda also. This game is extremely one note.

Some of those slides are balanced on the border between psychopathic and evil. Or maybe they're comfortably in both.

@gaminggumper: Amount of people who made the game means nothing to consumers. Why should a review be affected by how many people made it? Are we going to start grading on a curve with this? Does GTA get reviewed harsher because it has the most amount of developers?

It's a really cool fact, but it makes no difference to the quality of the game. How games are made is an interesting topic, but if a game is made by one person or by a whole team using nothing but on-screen keyboards, it doesn't make the game better or worse.

@dbos6290 I would argue that if it doesn't make the quality of the game any better or worse, it is irrelevant to a review. Since the purpose of a review is to examine what is good and bad about the product.

You should cite a formal review complaint with the board of reviewership. This is a brazen and bold-faced case of "reviewer putting his opinion in his review". Reviews must be strictly objective and only contain verifiable facts. Now I know why Dirty Dan is such a heel!
