Since the flash player borked I figured there was an unhandled exception/IO error or something, and it would only be a 5-minute programming job to catch it  and pop up an error window. But if not, it's probably not worth bothering with.

If it happens to someone else they'll hopefully see this post so they know what the problem is.

Low priority.

FireFox 3.0.8, Ubuntu 8.10. I was trying to watch an endurance run, but the buffering stopped about 40 minutes in, and the flash player then refused to do anything. The "current position in video" marker reset to the beginning, and skip/play/pause did nothing. After testing a bit I found out the problem was my HD running out of space.

A nice feature would be to pop up a window saying the HD has run out of space instead of the flash player just borking.
