I've been playing Soul Caliber IV for the Xbox 360 this week.  I have to say I've not played much Soul Caliber over the years but the concept of a sword fighting game sounds cool.  So far I'm not all that impressed with the game.  The story mode on normal is a joke it's so easy.  On hard is a lot more tougher but not horrible.  The arcade mode would be not so bad if it didn't almost always include one of the most unbalanced characters in the game.  The tower game mode is where I spend most of my time.

The inclusion of the Star Wars characters was a nice addition in concept but after playing it's clear these characters are way unbalanced.  The Apprentice is a pain because he can use his force powers against you.  I've played as Yoda and he is a joke.  If you can't win playing Yoda you should find a new game to play.

Thankfully I got this one via GameFly so I  didn't  buy the game.  I'm going to keep playing this while I wait for something better.  I'm just not impressed by this game and don't find it as impressive as others.  It's a nice time waste but not much something I'd ever go out of my way to play.
