How 'bout them cars?

I recently wrecked a 99 Dodge Intrepid.

Now I'm repairing it.

The Intrepid had some rough front end damage from the accident, and I'm actually getting a kick out of getting hands on with the project - which I didn't expect.

Wanted to know if any other bombers have been in similar situations (minus the car wreck..unless that applies - if so, doesn't that shit suck!)

I have a very small chip on my windshield. Does anyone know if those "istant chip repair" kiosks in grocery shop parking lots are actually any good?

The very first car(and last) I owned had several issues one after another. First, the engine locked up. 2 months after I got that fixed the flywheel broke. A month after I got that fixed the transmission started showing signs of failure which later broke about 6 months after. I did not get it fixed after that. All and all I spent close to 6000 dollars on a car worth 3000 dollars. Also before I bought the car, the previous owner told me she recently replaced the transmission.

I think mine is past repair, but I'm interested to know too. I was tempted to buy it, but instant-fix anything sets my scam alarm off.

@VoshiNova: Mazda 626. I did a little research into my car after it all happened and found out that several have the same exact issue.

My car was destroyed by hail. But it ended up being one of the greatest things that ever happened to me because it was totaled and I paid off my car loan! I also now only pay for liability insurance. Driving a beat up but perfectly functional car is a small price to pay for that reduction in my bills.

My first car was a 95 Oldsmobile Eighty-eight that my parents gave me. It had lost about 35% of it's paint, leaked every type of fluid, and had no heater or A/C. I drove it for two years though just fixing it as it broke though so it was pretty much a two year car project until I scrapped it for $500 and bought a new car.

i don't know a lot about cars. if i need anything i look it up online to find a guide. i drive a scion tc. parents bought it for me as i needed a car for college. they didn't want to buy a used car to having me pay for repairs down the road. my friend bought a used car and just had problems every like 6 months.

i have been getting into modding my car. my parents said that i need a hobby. my car is an automatic so i don't plan on getting performance mods. i think it's stupid to buy performance mods for auto as manual is the way to go for that.

i just recently bought HID. they're those brighter, different colored high-lights that you see on the road. i am enjoying mine, and was really easy to install.

i changed the interior lights to blue and white. i have blue for the door opens and white for the map lights. the thing is that my dad broke the passenger side. so that one doesn't work.

i want to get fog lights and blue lights in different places, grill, interior. i don't know what to do after.

i suggest you get them from http://www.ddmtuning.com/Product-Categories/HID-Kits-Lighting/HID-Kits they have cheap HID. the other sites that i looked at the kits were like $200+ the only thing is that it took 11 days for me to get them. the place is in cali but i guess the shipping place is in china.
