From what I've seen thus far, it's astonishing just quite how much of the Mad Max game Avalanche have put into this one.
I was one of the few that really liked Mad Max when I played it (going so far as to completely clear all of the activities on the map) even though I didn't ultimately finish the game in the end. But, for that same reason, my interest in picking this up has steadily waned.
Maybe I'll give it a look when it inevitably rocks up on PS Plus next year.
The thing that made me go "YES!" the most during this Quick Look was right at the end when I noticed that they have brought back the Practice Range (or will do at the beginning of Dec)
All in all, I think I may find myself picking this up at some point.
Not watched the video yet, but the more I read these comments, the more it feels like I won't be buying this game today but instead waiting til a month or so before the Game of the Year deliberations (if at all).
Yeah, the crew's audio levels seemed overpowering. It's a real shame we couldn't hear most of what was being said by the interviewees as often what we could hear was really interesting.
Maybe I'll look up the interviews on YouTube or something.
The first few missions I ran with Quiet the humming was a bit annoying. After a while, though, it became strangely soothing. An indication that she was watching over me and had my back.
Hey guys, just a general question for the audience here, is anyone else bummed-out by Dan's insistence that Drew use the pause menu to go to the ACC instead of just calling in a helicopter?
Yes
Especially as it's led to things like Drew not wanting to wait for a helicopter when he was standing ON the landing pad. Bizarre.
