Just to clearly depict my extreme bias towards this game I will preface my review by stating that Brütal Legend is my game of the year for 09. Yeah, it's like that.  So why no perfect 5 star rating? Because if it were that good I would still be playing it right now rather than writing about it. No, seriously, the game isn't perfect, but I consider any quibbles with the game to be just that, quibbles.
