@mistergrieves: As a person who drove a stick Honda to Atlanta, it was fun until I hit Atlanta, then it was a literal nightmare with the stop and go traffic. Still love driving manual here in the rural counties though.
@trivitaal: You would be surprised by the Undertale community. People think moba communities are awful but it barely holds a wet match compared to Undertale "fans."
@stereotype Thank you for the reply. I will be honest that I don't know much of the inner workings of how to run a stream or what types of moderation that twitch offers to streamers so I appreciate the clarification.
I think the biggest issue is that there is a huge issue with communities that grow so large around any type of streamer that it creates a type of negative environment. Do I understand Ninja statement? I do. Do I agree with it. No. I find it childish at best and his second statement shows that he fears rumor mills and trolls than anything else.
If Twitch bothered with harboring better communities, with the correct tools and moderation. Then perhaps Ninja doesn't have to feel that way. By Ninja admitting to this, it gives more power to the trolls and rumor mills than I would expect. Which should be combated rather than running away from the problem.
I am in line with having others play with each other, no matter what their gender, race, or ethnicity. Ninja is the face of twitch, he may not enjoy that idea, but he is. If your face of twitch is having these statements, then your platform isn't doing enough to habor better communities.
@dasakamov: Yea that is the weirdest thing people are upset about. There have been plenty of tributes to TB already. Why does the GB have to do so to a person they never followed or even chatted with.
