Man, this seems like a Lode Runner game created by total Lode Runner fans.

And appeals to both die-hards and newcomers to the franchise.

They both sound totally uninterested in Unreal Tournament, despite it pretty much being exactly what they want. Mods, Mutators, user-created maps and skins and stuff, as well as the weapon priorities.

I think Tales From the Borderlands is current TellTale's best work.

Would have liked to see Ratchet above Uncharted.

Eh, I thought Google Earth VR was cool for a while, but only very few areas are modeled in 3D.

And, for the areas that were modeled, I didn't feel like the "paper mache school project" 3D modeling looked good enough to convince my brain I was really there.

Most areas are just flat, low-res imagery, and are not modeled.

The Pyramids of Giza are not modeled, but Yankee Stadium is. Which is all that matters, really.

@shabtai: I've gotta agree here. There's a whole 'nother side to this game that wasn't even mentioned.

Doesn't seem like Dan has played nearly enough of this to give a proper overview. Even so far as not knowing how most of the mechanics work.

I'm not on this game's defense squad or anything, but the coverage I've seen of the Alpha so far has not been good.

I think Conker's Bad Fur Day beat Max Payne in Bullet-time by like, a month or two.

Even though, it was for only 1 scene in that game, it was pretty badass with procedurally destructible columns in the environment.
