ALL drugs?

No. Pot might not be that bad for you, but there's some stuff out there that is really bad for you. For instance, there's a drug in Russia known as Krokodil that can cause severe damage to your skin. According to the Wiki article, the life expectancy of an addict is only two to three years.

So, not all drugs are going to kill you. But are some drugs bad? You bet your bottom fucking dollar they are.

Ah, this is actually a bad example. It isn't the Desomorphine itself doing the damage here, the illict synthesis uses poorly sourced chemicals [such as car battery acid with lead impurities instead of reagent grade Suplhuric acid] and the Desomorphine isn't purified before use. These cause the tissue damage, not Desomorphine itself, which is used as an analgesic medically. Not to say that abuse of it would be harmless, it'd be on par with heroin abuse if pure [where confusion about dosage stemming from impure street samples is the primary cause of death].

Sorry about the rant; I'm a medicinal chemist and I always see Krokodil used as an extreme example of drug abuse, and while true people always focus on the effects of the impurities rather than the real dangers of opiate addiction.

No video games this year, however I did get a copy of Arkham Horror that I am very excited about bringing back to university.

@jetsetwillie: The cerebral aspect of Diablo wasn't the combat itself, it was the building of the character. You could beat Normal throwing skills around anywhere, but Hell [and to a lesser extent Nightmare] required your build to maximise certain skills and synergies. If you got sloppy with skill or stat point allocation, you'd stand absolutely no chance. Hell, most of the characters I built had over a dozen unallocated skill points until I hit 25-30 because spending them before then would fuck me over later on.

Yeah because Diablo II was such a complex game.

Someone clearly never got to Hell difficulty.

I'm in a similar situation, with the cash for one recent game. I went with Witcher 2, seemed like it's the best value for money and I was craving a CRPG.

I've got an amazing local roaster near my University, so I chain drink coffee all day. I'm at a loss when I go back home for the holidays and have to live off 0.5kg of beans or so for a month.

So, who wants a free copy? I already own Mass Effect 2 on PC, so whoever wants it PM me and I'll pick someone randomly in a couple days. I'm assuming the code will work on accounts other than your own.

10,000 subscribing users sounds high. Even if that was the case 12 x 5 = $60 per user for a year, assuming everyone paid monthly, this will actually be less as many of yearly subs which cost less than subbing monthly per annum.
 60 x 10,000 = $600,000. Nowhere near 7.2 million.

The stuff is really good, musically and production wise. Favourite track was probably Unbreakable; the songs start off very strongly but tend to drag a little in the verses but Unbreakable was more consistent throughout, changing it up just a little more than the others.  Least favourite was As If the World was Ending; sounded a little poppier than the others, which isn't really to my taste.
