Really happy for this Quick Look. Love Jack Box but I tend to play at 3-4 players. Looks like this one really needs at least 5 to play well for all of the games except the dictionary one. Also I know most have 1 bad game in them, but both the pirate joke and the personality quiz games looked pretty bad. Seems like Jack Box had a good idea in Push the Button and no other ideas, so they threw in a couple of (almost repeats) and crap.
This probably doesn't matter too much until Premium content is added, but will we be able to vote on the next video in a series? Would be cool if the chat could decide they want to watch through some/all of an Endurance Run in order for instance.
@drsbaitso The guy at 59 is 100% cheating unfortunately. Watch at 55:30 when Pascual goes down. The cheater kills a player and knocks Pascual in the same second.
I love the idea of this series, but I hope they decide on their audience. As a complete Dota noob I loved the ppt at the beginning and when Ben coaches brad directly and follows his views. However I can see others would want this to be more commentary for Dota players. Would be great if they could decide instead of jumping from one to the other.
@tanstaafl: At the beginning yes. But in the last game Brad shouts there's a guy and he immediately starts booking it back to Brad. He only stops because Jeff gets shot at the same time as well. #teamspicy
Going through your blog, and I wanted to say that this is an amazing task. I've started looking into cataloguing my back-catalog because of you.
The digital version of Talisman is much better than the game in my opinion. Setting up the game is such a chore. There's so many decks and items and all of it is pretty pointless as the game is random. The PC version obviously takes the setup out of it and makes turns quick and fun.
Talisman is a fun, relatively-mindless 30-45 minute game as the PC provides. When you play it physically it can go on for a couple of hours, so it's not really worth the slog (and the price).
