  • What can I say. I loved every second of this game. I at least tried every mission I found, and spend my hours mining listening to podcasts. So much so, I barely remember the mining, all I know was I was rich by the end. Lair of the Shadow Broker is also DLC of the year for me. It set a bench mark few can come near.

  • I'm not an RTS guy. I just don't do great at them. This doesn't stop me having far too much fun playing 2v2 with friends. To add to that, the universe and story had my from the beginning. I have a weak spot for Sci-fi stories, and after completing this game I went and read just about every peice of lore I could find. Fav Char? Well Nova, but she plays a minor roll, it's only because I read her back story. Fav Main Char? Matt, dude got married from losing a poker game. Also, has a battle cruiser.

  • There is something about BF:BC2. When I first got into the PC version, most the "noob" servers had high levels in them. I soon learned to snipe with the best of them. I love every aspect of playing this game. There is room for improvement, but over all this is my fps of the year.

  • Did Minecraft come out this year? Well maybe. The problem I have with the GiantBomb position that it might win next year is that by then it could be ruined. Following it's fame, the first major update I can remember was the about torches. Although this has yet to be implemented, it split the audience. From now on, notch and crew will have a hard time pleasing the people they have attracted.

  • I put quite a few hours into this game, and loved it. I hardly shot anyone, I was far too busy ignoring objectives and tying things together.
