breathtaking piece of conceptual video game design. I was lucky enough to make my 'journey' though the entire game with one other player. I felt genuine emotion and rapport for my silent human companion. An astonishing achievement.

the driving game genre has had a couple of rocky years. We've had confused mash-ups and explosive gimmickry, which failed to excite the public and lead to multiple studio closures. Playground Interactive, however, nail it on their first attempt with a game of breathtaking exhilaration, high octane action and absolutely no gimmicks (..ok just a few).

Despite having a weak central plot and convoluted overarching story, Dishonored delivers an almost perfect, deep, stealth-action game that shames Assassin's Creed for the shallow pap it is. Play it your own way, and influence the world of Dunwall around you. Dishonored arms you with the tools, and creates a world in which to experiment and play. Great stuff!

If it were not for the bungled final act, Mass Effect 3 would have been up there with the first two games.

Possibly slightly too challenging for its target audience, but a great Kart racer never-the-less.
