Assassin's Creed: Revelations

I recently beat the latest AC game, Revelations. These are my thoughts.

I know that Ubisoft is getting flack for churning out AC games on what is becoming a yearly basis, but this is a quality game. It keeps a lot of the same elements introduced in Brotherhood, like renovating shops, Faction challenges, sending Recruits out on missions, multiplayer, etc. It introduces the elements of the Hookblade, a contraption that helps Ezio climb faster and be able to slide along zip lines; crafting and using a variety of bombs, each with their own effect; and on the multiplayer side, it takes a page from Call of Duty: Black Ops, and requires players to buy abilities with Abstergo credits and offers players the ability to design and customize their own personal emblem.

I believe that the multiplayer aspect got the biggest overhaul in the game. I like it better than Brotherhood's, and find it more streamlined than its predecessor. It also seems a bit easier than Brotherhood's, perhaps because it's such a unique MP experience, many don't understand it and do well.

I think Revelations was a wonderful close to both Ezio's storyline and Altair's. I can't wait for AC 3.
