i came to add an entry for my favourite game Avination simply because so one seems to have heard of it and some one suggested this site to me. now i am plugging away slowly at it when i have a spare moment and perhaps ill do a good entry. i just wish every little change didn't take all day to get approved

@believer258: Tatsunoko Production Co created it in the beginning. Gainax came in latter to help speed production up and eventually ended up with the rights to the iP when Tatsunoko had financial problems. Tatsunoko is also famous for creating Macros which they sold the rights to Harmony Gold who then turned it into a abomination known as Robotech

Very interesting I would say for those interested in minecraft style games

Most if not all anime starts out as manga (graphic novel) and usually already has a following in Japan before a single frame of animation is produced. Of course there are exceptions to this rule. Some anime is being produced with American audiences in mind from the get go now or at the very least the script is rewritten from scratch for the American market. a good example is Abenobashi magical shopping arcade. Not only did they rewrite the script heavily for the American version, they even went so far to use American southern accent voice actors to represents the fact that the anime takes place in southern Japan. This one was produced by Ganiax which is famous for its ground breaking anime FLCL ( foolie coolie as its some times referred to). You also might like Abenobashi because it pokes a lot of fun of the various anime genres. Another anime i recommend is Time of Eve.
