@taciturnunicorn: wow, you're right. I can't believe that it was from 2019, it feels like it was from an entirely different time! Wild stuff. Thank you!

This is more of a "searching for a Quick Look" question than anything because it's not the game itself I care about, but in any case:

I'm looking for some low-quality game that was Quick Looked on this site I'm guessing some time between approx. 2010-15. Here's what I remember: The game consisted of a bunch of interconnected rooms, maybe procedurally generated, and the goal insofar as I recall was to just navigate your way through without dying. Each room had a seemingly random number on the doorways, which I believe was some kind of hint toward the right path. Some rooms had avoidable obstacles, others seemed like unfair death traps. As it exists in my mind the whole thing had a vague sci-fi aesthetic to it, but I could be misremembering.

I don't remember who was on the Quick Look or else I'd probably have been able to narrow it down by now. I had initially lumped it in with the type of zero-budget horror game that Dan and Drew would play at one point. It is not any of those, so the Dan/Drew staff combo can be ruled out, but it does share at least some similarities to Countless Rooms of Death, though a little more of a "game" so to speak, and I don't believe as explicitly aiming for the horror genre.

Certain details could very well be somewhat incorrect, but that's the best I can remember. For all I know it might not have even been that entertaining a QL! But anyway, thanks in advance to anyone who's more of a QL scholar than me.

You are speculating, it's gross as shit, and don't make me hit you with this wet rolled up newspaper.

For those talking about the drill, I think your best bet is to activate it right away and then just wait it out. You're guaranteed a lucky clover in Vlad's castle, so don't feel any need to rush. By then the lava should have probably flowed enough to not be so much of a problem. You'll still have to be careful for sure, and still might get unlucky, but I make it probably 9/10 times by now when I originally felt it was basically just up to fate.

My stupidest death so far was getting the furthest I've ever gotten and then ignoring a bouncer who said I was not on the list to a particular location. Turns out they were not kidding around. And then also this extremely unlucky pool shot, lol:

“Red Ventures is eager to invest in CNET Media Group’s growth with more personalized consumer experiences that will reinvigorate CNET Media Group’s brands and unlock unprecedented opportunity for all”.

ah yes, i love haveing a more personalized consumer experience on the internet!! thank god!

lol it's hard to feel anything but pessimistic hearing that kind of tech company bullshit. plus the rest of their portfolio of all the nastiest type of shit on the internet, the fates of other websites that change hands, the way this year is, so on and so forth.

I do trust Jeff et al. to make the right calls, but I'd be lying if I said it's not worrisome.

Even more specifically, I'm pretty certain it's from the bizarrely cut up version in the N64 release of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3.

I couldn't recognize much with my limited recognition of pop culture but Lemmy was on there with "Don't forget the Joker" from Ace of Spades (Motorhead).

This game has more problems than the Marauders, but they certainly help make it worse. A defensive enemy in a Doom game is idiotic. It seems like thought that guided this game's development was "what if Doom 2016 but not fun".
