    Short summary describing this game.

No recent wiki edits to this page.

Project Glitch is Rithm Gaming's newest creation to hit the market. The game takes place in a modern Game Development Studio (Game Dev Inc.), and allows the player to explore the role of play tester. Without this crucial role, Game Dev Inc. is unable to ship their three titles currently in beta to market. The three titles in order of appearance are Nature's Mysteries, Solemnity, and Cloud Kingdom.

This game was developed in the course of four months by one individual, Michael Feldman. Project Glitch took inspiration from creative developers like Davey Wreden and Jonathan Blow. The game reflects the notion in "The Beginners Guide" that one plays a game within a game. The main difference with Project Glitch is that the games have bugs on every level, so it is the players job to spot the glitches and file bug reports.

Throughout the game there is a boss character that communicates with the player via email providing encouragement, directions, and various advice. The player, whilst still in the Game Development Studio, can pull out a smartphone at any point which acts like a main menu. From here the player can check email, save, or go back to the start menu. From within any of the three games, the menu changes to a beta-version GUI placeholder which mirrors the supposed nature of the game's status.

The gameplay consists of finding and identifying a wide array of glitches from null frame rates, undefined variables, missing meshes, and seeing through walls. Pretty much anything that could be glitched is glitched.

Project Glitch is a modern purified puzzler. The interactions with the boss, or the console logs from the developers are meant to create a funny atmosphere. Despite epic sounding music being used in the announcement trailer, this title is not very demanding, but can make one think a little deeper about what goes on behind the scenes to create a modern day video gaming.
