    Red Dead Redemption

    Red Dead Redemption is the spiritual successor to 2004's Red Dead Revolver, featuring a vibrant, open world set in the decline of the American Wild West. Players take on the role of former outlaw John Marston, who is forced to hunt down his former gang to regain his family.

    i loved it but playing as jack tottaly sucks. his voice sends chills down my spine

    It was good, I don't like Jack's horse riding phrases. That's all. The family-oriented narrative and ending missions were never done so well in gaming, if at all.
     
    John got himself killed to stop pursuit of him and his family. I like to imagine Jack as a better man. I spared the Ross' and would have spared Edgar if I could.

    I did not like it myself. The story in general was not all that great to be honest. I love the game, but thought the story was only passable.

    i liked the ending. but i just wished that they could have just left john alone to enjoy his life. lol. Still i like to think that Jack ended up leading a good life after the credits rolled.  
    I also really loved the last newspaper you can buy, and how it more or less wraps up a lot of the minor character's stories.

    I think the ending was awesome. it hit me hard watching John die, cant remember last time felt that way about a character dieing.
     
    tho shooting Ross seven times in the face made me feel better hehehe

    Wait...you can spare ross? And still end the game? I didn't think you had a choice.
     
    EDIT: Also one of the best video game stories I have played through in a long time.

    no you cant spare edgar ross, but he meant that if he could spare him he would. 
     
    i would spare him to, because  it fits the theme of redemption in this game

    Well John did say that Bonnie is closer to his son's age... dunno, you can hunt cougars in that game. Maybe Jack could go on one last cougar hunt and then settle down.

    If there was an option to spare him, Ross would shoot you with no remorse and story would be really dumb. Jack killed Ross to make sure John didn't die in vain; that was redemption if anything.
