Is that your building on the ground over there?

Red Faction is a good game.  I liked it a lot better than the other 2 Red Factions, and I liked it better in third person. Positives things about this game are the fact that anything can be broken, most of the important missions are really fun, and the multiplayer is pretty solid.  Another good thing about the game is that it is long.  But most of the missions are way too repetitive.  It has a good story, but if you want to be successful in the important missions, you will have to do the very repetitive side missions.  That is another thing about this game, some missions are very hard and annoying.  Some of them even frustrated me and made me stop playing.  The multiplayer has different modes and is pretty fun.  I really can't say anything bad about the multiplayer.  Playing Wrecking Crew (a mode in which you break stuff with a limited amount of time) is really fun to play pass the paddle with your friends.  This game is good, but definately not perfect.  I would recommend that you rent this before buying to see if you like it.

Don't get me wrong, the results of rocket-launching, bomb-laying and nano-reducing 99.9% of the objects on the terrain are an absolute blast to play with (no pun intended) and well worth the standard fare for a 360 title all by themselves. Surely the developers knew that this was going to be the best part of the game, s...

Red Faction: Guerrilla Review - Hey kid, you like explosions? 0

Personally, Red Faction: Guerrilla really flew in under my radar. I had never played the first two games for the PC and I really had no idea what to expect, but after playing the very short single player demo I picked up the game without reading a single review. And I am glad I did.At its roots, Red Faction: Guerrilla is all about blowing shit up - and it all blows up real good.Red Faction: Guerrilla places you in the space boots of one Alec Mason; nomad, brother, and mining engineer (meaning yo...
