A few months back around the time of RE0's remastered release announcement, Capcom started up this little competition thing for people to upload designs to be plastered on a plain t-shirt for Rebecca. It was setup as a tournament with people voting what makes it to the next round, and now the whole thing's finished with the three shirts officially chosen:
The logos are neat, though that they're still just a bunch of boring t-shirts (all of which coincidentally happen to be the same colour at that!) it's hard to get too excited about it all. The best part frankly was how voting would then give you early access to some developer diaries explaining different aspects of both the remastered version and the original release's development.
It would have been more enticing if the costumes could be a little more elaborate, to allow fans to actually design some full costumes as opposed to a t-shirt logo. But still, this along with the added Wesker Mode is something Capcom didn't need to do, with so many other remasters merely upping the framerate/resolution and calling it a day, so it's appreciative all the same.
It should also be reminded that Rebecca will still have herself some new digs in the form of her evil, leathered-up Weskerette outfit, which looks appropriately silly in all the best ways.
