This third of four chapter raises the stakes but not without some trade off. 0

Resident Evil Revelations 2 Episode 3 REVIEWWritten By- Tyler PedersonSticking to the weekly release schedule, we are now three quarters of the way through this “Season” of Revelations. While I have mixed feelings on certain elements of the ideas being introduced as game progresses, I would never fault the game for simply trying new things. The invisible enemy type for instance make a return, but aren’t overused to the point of forced difficulty. It has become more apparent how...

"The chapter manages to bring things home, but as an episodic entry it fails to deliver the same consistency." 0

Resident Evil Revelations 2 Episode 4Written by: Tyler PedersonThe season has come to an end with the release of the fourth and final episode of Revelations 2, and in proper Resident Evil form, the closing chapter is definitively the most divisive. You won’t be punching any boulders this time around, but the stand in manages to impress almost as much as that wonderfully bombastic finale did just over 6 years ago. The divisive element comes into play in a truly surprising manner, and what I...

Resident Evil Revelations 2 Ep.1 is not just a promising start to a new entry, but in my eyes, the best Resident Evil. 0

REVIEW - Resident Evil Revelation 2 Episode 1: Penal Colony [PS4/XBO/PC/PS3/X360]Written By: Tyler Pederson Resident Evil has fallen on hard times. The sixth main entry in the series tried hard to be a universally adored experience, and in doing so became a mess of half realized ideas tying together what would otherwise be a bland, retread story for the most part anyway. Resident Evil Revelations was originally released for the 3DS and later ported to the PC, WiiU, PS3, and Xbox360 where I final...

Is it Really "Resident" Evil if You're on a Deserted Island? 0

“Resident Evil: Revelations 2” is Capcom’s leap into the realm of episodic gaming, a style of release most well known for being used by Telltale Games. Telltale produces point-and-click style adventure games, which are very different from the action-style gameplay of “Revelations 2.” There is more to this game than its release schedule though. Being put out at a budget price, a big worry for many people is the actual quality of game. You can trust these guys to figh...

The Second Revelations is a game where once the story starts to unfold, but also a game with surprising replay value 0

Resident Evil Revelations is an interesting take on the whole Resident Evil franchise. While it was designed initially to be a portable game on the 3DS it featured more conventions of an episodic TV drama with “Previously on” and “Next times” to help let gamers play along at their own pace. Once Revelations one was finally released on to the current consoles of the time it was well received by fans as one of the better modern Resident Evil titles since Resident Evil 4. So...

A Comfortable But Shallow Experience 0

Editorial Note: Half way through playing this game, I decided not to finish reviewing it. I was just too bored. Take that for what it's worth.Resident Evil Revelations 2 is Capcom's latest attempt to disappoint fans of Resident Evil 4. For years, they've been running their classic formula through a sieve and collecting all the mud that comes through the bottom instead of the gold nuggets lying on top. What can be taken away from Resident Evil Revelations 2's first episode is that even when you p...

"Resident Evil Revelations 2 stays strong, but it’s second installment is most certainly the more divisive of the two." 0

Resident Evil Revelations 2- Episode 2 REVIEWWritten by Tyler PedersonRevelations 2 started off incredibly strong in my opinion. The first episode encapsulated the best of the combat, atmosphere, and puzzle oriented nature of the series past entries into a well rounded opening chapter. Episode two brings us to the mid-way point in the season, and along with a couple of new enemy types, brings with it a slightly less focused entry with a particularly unnecessary difficulty spike tossed in for go...
