Overview
Reversi is a digital board game developed and released by Microsoft for Windows PCs in 1985, included with all installations of the Microsoft Windows operating systems from Windows 1.0 to Windows 3.0.
Based on the board game of the same name, Reversi has players (light/red) facing off against an AI computer opponent (dark/blue) as they attempt to control the 8x8 board with their colored discs. The game includes four AI difficulties, as well as a hint system. The Windows 3.0 version added a help system to make it consistent with other applications.
Beginning with Windows 3.1, the game itself is no longer included in Windows installations. An enhanced version for Windows 3.1 has been found, although not much information is available about its source.
