Rita is found hanging around the R.P.D. Precinct's main hall, along with Marvin Branagh. She will situate herself there for the majority of the Desperate Times scenario, until the player(s) locate all of the necessary items needed to reveal a secret passage to the outside through the statue in the main hall. She will head through the small passage and arrives eventually with Harry, driving a truck. Rita and Harry are able to save the player characters, but Marvin (who had already been bitten prior) is left to perish after Harry is spooked by a zombie attacking via the truck's driver window.
Rita can be unlocked as a character skin after completing Desperate Times on the Very Hard difficulty. She is placed over the Alyssa Ashcroft character, containing her skills and animations.
