Rocking Pilot is arcade shooter inspired by the classic hits from the golden age of shmups like Geometry Wars 2, Retro Evolved, Metal Slug series and Resogun. It's a twin-stick, bullet hell, that put to the test not just my reflexes but my temperament as well. The goal is simple: Destroy everything on the screen. Don't worry about the bullets, missiles, lasers, rockets, and bombs. There is plenty of that in the game. In a quest to destroy evil tv Corporation one of the best tools will be blades of the helicopter. When ever I got cornered, I would engage overdrive and slice through enemies like a hot knife through butter. This is the primary mechanic of the game. Whenever in the pinch, hit overdrive which grants temporary immortality and deals an insane amount of damage to the neighboring enemies.

Games have four distinct areas split into smaller parts. Each can be played in mission mode or go for the high score. As for the story, it's classic tale of the dashing, charismatic, and witty helicopter pilot who one day decided to end the reign of the evil tv network that profits from the perpetual wars.

This game is the brainchild of the indie studio Gungrounds and is published by Mad Head Studios.
