So, anyone that was dumb enough [loves Assassin's Creed 2 enough] to sit through the 2 hour Ubisoft Press Conference probably saw that trailer for R.U.S.E., right? The one where the two guys are playing the game on that table? If you haven't seen it yet, here you go.

The table is called the Microsoft surface. It's a huge touch screen monitor.

I know this is an insane late bump, but I didn't want to start a new thread on what was the same topic. 
 
 
With windows 7 and a lot more touchscreen monitors being on sale now, you don't need 20 grand, but expect to spend like 2 grand if you want that monitor to be at least 20 inches. 
 
 
However, because this game will come out for the consoles as well, I predict this will be kinda like Tom clancy's endwar by being able to control your units by talling them through a mic.

We just got some 17" touch screens in at the computer store where I work. You have no idea how much I wanted to boot up R.U.S.E beta on the display model I set up.
