The Saiga-12 is a semi-automatic shotgun that feeds from a detachable box magazine (2, 5, 8 or 10 round) or drum (20 round). Using a detachable magazine allows the operator to quickly reload the firearm without handling individual shells. The Saiga is not only designed after the AK-47 but they are produced in the Izhevsk factory which manufactured the original AK-47 assault rifles.
