Imagine if the Bioshock Infinite developers said, "Hey, you know how we have that cool rail travel system we have in our game? Well, you only get to use those rails if you commit to buying our game before you're able to read any reviews." That's not happening, so why is this happening?
How do you show off a feature of a game in the E3 demo, and then later tell everyone that if they want that feature, they can't read any reviews before making a commitment to buy the game? Selling a people launcher as a preorder bonus was a great decision. Showing it at E3 as part of the game, and then making it a preorder bonus? That's a load of crap.
If you're one of the 3,000 first North Americans who pre-order the game from THQ's online store, you'll get the THQ Pass which will give you free access to future DLC mission packs worth around $20.
@SpaceInsomniac: Who says the launcher won't be available through normal gameplay? Perhaps this would just be a way of obtaining it without unlocking it.

According to Games Radarit's just a special paint job.
Also worth mentioning: If you're one of the 3,000 first North Americans who pre-order the game from THQ's online store, you'll get the THQ Pass which will give you free access to future DLC mission packs worth around $20.Also worth mentioning: how the hell do you even know if you're one of the first 3000, before you order the game for 68 dollars including shipping? What a stupid and limited promotion. It should have been a free DLC pass to anyone who orders before August 1st, or something like that.
Aside from that, it's highly likely that Amazon will have a 10 or 20 dollar credit for this game at some point, AND release date delivery is usually free. Even when it's not free, it's only a dollar.
DLC like this is accompanied with every big game nowadays. It's something we'll all need to get used to.

If either of these things are true, I withdraw my complaint.According to Games Radarit's just a special paint job.

@SpaceInsomniac: I was just mentioning it, dude, calm down.I just think it's an incredibly poorly designed pre-order promotion to limit something to 3000 people, when it's probably going to sell well over a million copies. This is especially true when there's a good chance that 3000 people have already preordered the game by the time you even hear about the promotion.
I'm not remotely upset by the fact that you mentioned their offer, though. If it came across as such, please know that was certainly not my intent.
Damn... you better be able to just straight up do a kamehameha wave in this game. That would just be great on top of all the other craziness so far.
