This made me sad. Saints Row has never had the production values of the GTA series, but what GTAIV had in production value, Saints Row 2 instead had in fun. 
 
It was a buggy, flawed game. But still, it's one of the best co-op experience I've had on the 360. 
 
Majorly rebuilding the engine can both be a good  thing, but also a warning sign as development time drags on, the production costs rises and there is less time to for polish before they need to get a return on the investment.
