    Overview

    Sega Vintage Collection: Golden Axe is a video game compilation developed by M2 and published by Sega on May 30, 2012 for the Xbox 360 (via Xbox Live Arcade). Part of the Sega Vintage Collection series, the compilation includes three titles from the Golden Axe franchise: Golden Axe (for the arcades), Golden Axe II (for the Sega Genesis), and Golden Axe III (for the Sega Genesis).

    Each game includes various features, such as time trial modes (where players complete a certain task in a certain part of the game), save states, replays (that can be shared with other players), and two-player online co-operative gameplay via Xbox Live.

    All three games were also released seperately for the PlayStation 3 (via PlayStation Network), each including all of the features of the Xbox Live Arcade version plus twelve trophies for each game (nine bronze, two silver, and one gold).
