    Story

    In the far east of Rance's world lies the land of JAPAN, a country embroiled in conflict between many warring states. Rance arrives in this region, hoping to enjoy a hotspring trip and the famously beautiful Oda Kou, but soon finds himself commanding the armies of the ailing Oda house following a drunken bender with its lord, Nobunaga. While Nobunaga only wants enough territory to give his sister Kou a secure future, Rance aims to conquer all of JAPAN.

    However, as Rance goes about his campaign, a malevolent force from the country's past rises to threaten the land again.
