Shaving is the act of using a razor and cream to remove unwanted hair from the body.

Men typically shave their faces, typically for comfort or social reasons i.e. a job. Women on the other hand typically shave their underarms and legs, most do not grow substantial facial hair. Women shave their legs and underarms due to social stigmas against having hair on those parts of the body.
