    @icytower38:
    You think? I mean comparing it to Forza 3 with their 10 cars for 400 MSP, 400 more for one track and no new achievements VS this, 14 cars, 5 tracks, new career events and a couple of new achievements, I think the 800 is an OK deal if you ask me.

    Yeah, 800pt is pretty competitively priced. Would anyone be complaining about COD or Halo getting 6 new maps, over a dozen new weapons and a new single player mission all for 800pt?

    As someone else pointed out, Forza charges half the price for nothing but car packs. Forza 3 shipped with around 400 cars - Shift 2 around 125. Take a $60 starting price for each games and say all that goes towards nothing but cars - theoretically a Shift 2 car runs $0.48 and a Forza 3 car is $0.15. So which car pack is a better value?

    Shift 2 also gives you 6 new maps (not just one) and more importantly adds all this to your career. Forza 3 added nothing for your career so if you did buy its single dlc track offering it was pretty much worthless beyond private online races. I don't even think it was added to the matchmaking play lists.
