    Shock Wave: Invasion Earth 2019 is futuristic air combat game (with some space combat thrown in for good measure) set during an alien invasion 2019, and featuring lots of FMV cutscenes.

    The player takes the role of a rookie codenamed Wildcard, one of Earth's last fighter pilots, and is assigned an F-177 Fighter. Gameplay is similar to Warhawk and Terminal Velocity, though with relatively confined mission areas and a fast moving jet, the player has little margin for error, as moving out of mission bounds result in instant death.

    The game and it's expansion pack Operation Jumpgate were later re-released in one package for the PlayStation, PC and Pippin under the name Shockwave Assault.
