Finally, the return of a Sumo wrestler in fighting games.

I'm always in the cream zone.

Was sad to not see Ranking of Fighters in upcoming for today and now I am happy to see there is in fact a new Ranking of Fighters.

I'm sad my tv now appears covered in vaseline thanks to them playing n64 games.

It sucks that a name as good as G. A. S. P. was wasted on this.

Ben truly is a monster for using the N64 stick instead of the D-pad for fighting games. First Mario using the stick, then this!

What the fuck, I played so much flying dragon as a kid, it was one of my only fighting games. Its obviously terrible, but i didnt know at the time. Cant believe played this weird game hah

Sub 20 mins of playing before Ranking? Why even bother if you barely are going to play the games.? I felt like I heard Ben say "Ok, I'm ready to rank this" after the second fight. If you aren't even going to take the time to do proper "science" then why bother at all?

I rented Flying Dragon so many goddamn times when I was 10 years old. I dunno why but I loved the single player, even though looking back it's pretty terrible.

Love that they played Flying Dragon, though SD Version was my goto. Not they just need to play Mace: The Dark Age, and Asura Blade: Sword of Dynasty or Asura Buster: Eternal Warriors, and they'll have a definitive guide…

Have some fond memories of SD mode in Flying Dragon and renting it a bunch of times back in the day. Bought the game from my local Hollywood Video when they started to clear out N64 games after the Gamecube arrived.

I picked up both of these games from a local shop nearly a year ago as part of my "try out N64 fighting games" thing. Both of these games play as awkward as they look, no matter how much time is put into them. I also can't find any scanned manuals or anything, so I don't know if there really is any hidden depth to them.

One interesting thing about Deadly Arts is the create-a-character system, which allows you to fully-customize a character's appearance and movelist from scratch. You start with no combos or anything and have to "train" against CPU opponents to learn new moves (one at a time, and only by defeating them). I have no idea how this works, as I remember learning a move or two and suddenly not be able to learn any new moves (only moves that replace the other one).

Can't wait to see them try out other N64 gems, like Dark Rift and Dual Heroes.

I was expecting something adult themed on that web address. I was let down.

Man, Flying Dragon is incredible, they barely scratched the surface! The SD mode has a whole story thing, there is loot with rare items and equipment, and the individual items level up and evolve! Its a full RPG fighting game, and it is fucking COOL!
