Wow, Dan really gave up on the first level

was wondering what I'd be able to help pass the time with until Burgle my Bananas came on later today, and now i know!

If you make dan cringe, that's an accomplishment.

YAY!

First thoughts, why did Ben and Dan suddenly lose their platforming skill?

Second thought, that Minimal Effort level was neat.

Final thought, ok, that finishing run by Ben redeemed them.

Dan's face for the first minute and a half is that of an adult listening to the ramblings of a small child.

I realize I made Dan the adult and Ben small in that comparison, but I stand by it.

That Allin/Havoc/Janela triple threat was hilarious but great

Holy heck that last level execution by Ben.

playing league with friends once and after a good kill I said "hell yeah, stella got her groove back". No idea why. Total silence. Much cringe.

loving this show!!! no time to make you guys a level, but maybe one day!

I wonder if there isn't a flaw in their plan. Some of the best levels "lose" as they get beat, despite showcasing some pretty damn strong level design. Meanwhile some people get premium for making... just sorta obnoxiously hard levels?

On brand for Mario Maker but still. I just want to reward the clever people!

(Some of the winners made really good levels too of course)

That was a terrific finale.

I like the level of difficulty in the levels showcased. They're tough, and they're not always beaten during the show, but they're doable, and they have a spark of ingenuity. You can see the light at the end of the tunnel, even if we don't always get there.

I'm enjoying the get on my level series but I'd like to see an addition to the rules where Ben and Dan can vote to give premium to someone with an amazing level. I feel like some of the people who make great levels that aren't that difficult should get some kind of reward and not just the people who make "fuck you" hard levels.

That's some FFX Chocobo racing tech at the end there.

I'm surprised Dan didn't pick up on what I'm assuming were some Giant Bomb Makes Mario references in Space Puzzlin' (the goomba pit, blowing up wall with bob-omb, elevator sequence between two pillars of enemies).

The idea for community votes on the next levels sounds pretty good, but I'd be glad for any Mario Maker vids you're all doing. Love it!

(it's on Steam and the game isn't so good but could be kind of entertaining, who knows if theres some minor mods out there that might polish up the game a lil)

Hopefully some constructive criticism can be said here and it actually taken to heart for the series. I think the idea is fantastic, but it feels very unstructured and doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

1. Please have some sort of rules. Either number of tries or time limit for all levels. Having several tries and around 6 mins on the first level before giving up seems extremely unfair to others where they persevered for over 20 mins and finally got in resulting in no premium giveaway.

2. 1 entry on the series per person (unless there is literally only a few people making levels and submitting). Again, it would be unfair to make a competition and have the same people have their levels shown and win over and over again.
