Kind of bummed they didn't remaster Saints Row 2 instead, considering it has a terrible PC port and many 3 & 4 fans never played it. I get what Jeff is saying about the story sucks, but I care about the gameplay more than the story which is probably why 2 is one of my favorite games while 3/4 did nothing for me.

i vehemently disagree with them on MC: Dunegons. absolutely loving it roughly 5 hours in, cant' wait to get to adventure difficulty to see some of the crazier items.

When my older brother was about 10-13 he kept a small journal with drawn out maps and diagrams representing the course of battles in his Rome Total War campaign, and he would study them to improve his tactics and develop strategies, and intuitively discovered how the AI worked and how he could exploit it.

Kids love discovery, and they have more time than adults to dedicate all their time to it.

I think Ash from the Evil Dead is a lot more dated and of a bygone time than Spawn, considering that the Spawn comic book is still being published to this day. I don't read comics on a monthly basis like that anymore so I can't really tell you how popular he is, but probably more relevant than Ash.

Jeff is weirdly serious about Saints Row 3. I remember that game being a dumb goofy thing when it came out. It was like a 6.8/10 kinda game. I'm more interested in playing 4 again because I thought the world traversal powers made it a lot more fun. The story and characters in those games have never been good enough to care about.

The Saints Row 3 remaster got me to pop in my remaster of IV. And oh boy, that game's excellent. I was burned out on those games at the time and never even finished it, but going back now is getting me appreciate how fantastic it was. I was interested in going back to 3 again, but it would be hard to give up running up buildings and ditching cars. And as a sucker for The Matrix and Mass Effect, I just enjoy the whole vibe of it.

I have no idea what the next great sequel in the Saints Row franchise will even look like. Going back to a version without powers might feel like a step back, but some folks seemed turned off by IV going a bit too far.

What I really want is a city featuring full Geo-Mod.

It needs some work, but the framework is there for a GREAT game!
I am SURE they are going to continue to add things to this over time and expand upon it. The possibilities have me REALLY excited to see what they do.
The last boss was CRAZY hard considering it was the Default difficulty, but I am already looking forward to doing it again on Adventure and Apocalypse mode!

I usually listen to the normal version despite being a premium subscriber simply because the Podcast app is the most convenient way to get it. However, for the first time, I started to get annoyed by the ads.

Modern Vintage Gamer on YouTube has a great breakdown of why Xbox emulation has always been so troubled. It's an interesting watch. Basically comes down to each Xbox game targeting different memory locations by SDK version, so there is no real way to emulate games across the board. This is probably why MS themselves slowly rolled out emulated versions on Xbox One.

Man what happened to these guys? Hearing them talk about fatalities grossing them out and being too much was crazy.

Why don't California houses have A/C.? As a Floridian a house without A/C easily makes a Top 5 things I fear the most.

@mr__kamikaze: Some don’t have central AC because it saved the original builders of the house money, but there’s nothing to stop them putting AC units in windows now.

It’ll be interesting to see if Jeff expands on the relatively small list of foods he eats as he starts getting his child into eating real food.

It's probably just me, but audio levels have been really annoying on podcasts lately.

Vinny was ultra quiet on the bombcast in recent weeks, and Brad is SO quiet on this video and the recent bombcasts, especially compared to Jeff whose voice just BOOMS. Very odd, and judging by lack of comments related to this, I'm the only one experiencing this?!

Ash vs Evil Dead had three seasons and was bloody fantastic! It being "not a success' was because it aired on a USA only television Network and second aired on Starz which I guess, not everyone in the US even has.

I am definitely lacking in "Minecraft Ambition" as well as creativity. My friends and I had a ton of fun playing on servers together in the past. We'd build shit close but separate and make a little community and whatnot. Then we'd go on Reddit or whatever and see pictures of other people's builds and... we were like preschool children compared to basically everything on there. It's insane. Not saying it detracts from the experience of fun I had... it doesn't. But it makes me wish I was more creative.
