Man, when that lady said, "we need to wrap this up," I just got a feeling that this interview was surrounded by Sony lawyers and an accompanying entourage.

Thanks for the interview, it was very informing on Shuhei's personality and I kind of like his leadership style and the fact that he even did this interview but, still iffy on if I want to delve into this generation just yet.

He answered the last question very well on MP3 playback. "We didn't remove MP3 playback just so we could get people to subscribe to Music Unlimited, we just didn't think about putting it in because we were rushing to put in the game features firsT" explains it succinctly. Whether or not that's truth, who cares, but it came off very genuine. Sony is doing wonders with yosp at the forefront now.

Serious Jeff is really disturbing to listen to.

Shuhei is a great for Sony, he has always responded directly to any tweets I have sent him, dont know many that would bother to do that.

in regards to MP3's etc it wasn't made clear that they wouldn't be available for day one but would be coming at a later date the FAQ made it sound like they had no intention at all to have them had they made that clear there wouldn't have been the uproar that occurred at least not by as many people.

What issue wasn't addressed? He talked about how it was a smart move by Microsoft and that stuff like that keeps them on their toes. Did you expect a free Unity confirmation out of this?

Usually when you ask someone about a move their competitor made, you expect them to tell whether or not they will be making the same decision to counter their competitor. Shuhei said neither, and instead went into a copout answer of "oh, we applaud the great things competition does for the industry." I'm constantly amazed people still fall for fake answers like that.

Brad asks "do you have any plans for more direct support for indie developers like that?" And he doesn't get an answer. He gets a copout. I'm not mad or surprised, really. Just saying.

If you have any questions you would like to know and you feel he side-step it, please tweet this man. He may literally be the most upfront/down to earth executive in gaming. He answers any and all questions people tweet him. He was the one that confirm the no mp3, music cd on twitter while nonchalantly answering a fan's question.
